The Intention Sumner Social Investment Fund makes real asset investments
that aim to provide investors with above-market, risk-adjusted returns, whilst
improving the world we all share.
A core objective of the fund is to dispel the myth that achieving positive social
outcomes means sacrificing financial returns.
Opportunities for investors to invest in impact investments are vastly undersupplied, particularly within the Australian property market.
This undersupply creates a lack of competition, which allows the Investment Manager to provide investors with exclusive investment opportunities, at attractive pricing. The seed asset is a strong case study for the investment thesis.
Impact investments are made with the specific intention to generate positive social and/or environmental impact, alongside financial return. Measuring, assessing, and reporting on impact will allow the fund to bridge a market gap between the private and institutional investment markets.
